Music style

Klystron's first attempts in music making were mainly influenced by Techno, Hardcore/Gabba, and Jungle. Later productions are rather oriented towards midtempo breaks or electro. The tracks are characterized by massive drums, hard and serious, but also atmospheric sounds, by having a few more than two or three different notes, and by variations in rhythm and melody instead of soporific monotony. The music is intended for "use" on the dancefloor. Download the best tracks from about 15 years for free!

Music software (a brief history)

Klystron started music production on an Amiga 500 using an 8-bit sampler and the Protracker music software, which was probably unrivaled at that time. Later, Oktalyzer was used instead, followed by a Protracker version running on two Amigas on parallel. After purchasing the first synthesizer, Octamed Soundstudio was needed which supports Midi. In addition, Fasttracker was used on a PC to make XM modules, e.g., for computer games and other Scienide projects. Now, Klystron's favourite PC music software is Renoise. All these programs follow the tracker concept of music editing, which Klystron always considered superior to any other music sequencer principle.
